About WE

Women e-Commerce Entrepreneurs (WE) is a nationwide platform founded on 20th June 2020 by Shokat Ahmed, with the vision to empower women through digital entrepreneurship. WE believes that every woman, regardless of background, has the potential to become financially independent and create sustainable businesses if given the right support, training, and network.

Over the years, WE has grown into a strong and vibrant community of more than 180,000 members, where women entrepreneurs can share their ideas, showcase their products, learn new skills, and build meaningful collaborations.

Through initiatives like WE Academy, district-level leadership teams, training programs, and business campaigns, WE is working to create a digital ecosystem that enables women to start, scale, and sustain their businesses confidently.

At its heart, WE is not just a platform—it’s a movement. A movement of women supporting women, building trust in domestic products, and transforming challenges into opportunities. By connecting entrepreneurs, mentors, and customers, WE is shaping a future where women are at the center of economic growth in Bangladesh and beyond.
